Chickasaw Mudd Puppies

Ben Reynolds and Brant Slay were Chickasaw Mudd Puppies, a swampy duo of rockin’, stompin’, hootin’, hollerin’, blues lovin’ alterna-rockers from Athens, Georgia who were “discovered” and produced by R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe. They released two fantastic recordings for Polygram before disbanding in the early 1990s. This site is for fans of this little known, and under appreciated band.
